General and Friends Organised Events
The Friends organise an annual programme of enjoyable social events and also some volunteer ‘Make a Difference Days’ to tackle a range of conservation tasks as part of the OUR Park scheme. During recent years events have included a pre-Christmas function at Ross Priory with music, mulled wine and mince pies; a mid summer visit to Inchcailloch National Nature Reserve for a guided walk and Make a Difference Days at Loch Lomond, Loch Lubnaig and Loch Earn.

Wednesday 19th February
If you would like to help us to make a difference in the beautiful surroundings of the National Park, please join us for our “Make a Difference Day” volunteer event at Arrochar and Tarbet. We will be treating the timber at Robert’s Bridge, Arrochar and putting down some non-slip netting. We will also be treating the timber at Faerie Bridge, Tarbet. Thursday 24th April
Our next “MADD” will be a litter-pick taking place at Loch Lubnaig. Please contact info@lochlomondtrossachs.org.uk if you are interested in participating.
