Making a Difference in the National Park
Initiating and helping to deliver projects that make a real difference is a central part of the work of the Friends. This is a way to carry out practical activities that contribute to protecting and promoting the special heritage qualities of the National Park. For the last 35 years the Friends have been involved in a wide range of projects.
More details on some of the more recent and current initiatives and projects we are involved with are given in this section of the website. All projects are developed with appropriate partners and with relevant consultation and some are routed through the Friends of OUR Park scheme to maximise funding leverage with partners. If you would like to know more about any particular project, would like to be involved or have a project idea which you would like us to consider and get involved with please get in touch.
